“Eh? If you wouldn’t want to come back?” he repeated, leaning back slightly. He knew she was teasing him, but that wasn’t anything too different from the usual. There are times when he pushes her buttons, so it all evened out. Kisuke chucked a bit, then grinned at Yoruichi. “To be honest, I don’t think you would stay away. After all, I am the most charming man around~”

Moving her face closer to his, she felt his breath against her. Candy. What should she have expected from a candy shop owner? Though as she went to kiss him softly she pulled away and out of his grasp. “Perhaps you are far to conceited for your own good, Kisuke Urahara. Your flamboyancy may result in a lonely future.” 

Expecting a kiss, Kisuke leaned towards her, only to disappointed when he came into contact with nothing. He pouted as he inched towards her until she was within his grasp. Wrapping an arm around the small of her back, he pulled Yoruichi close once again. 

“Oh, now I know you don’t mean that.” he said, grinning. “There’s nothing wrong with speaking the truth. Besides, I do believe you like the way I am. You wouldn’t be with me if you didn’t, hmm~?”

“Oh, it’s quite alright. After all, I know you’ll always come back to me, no matter how long you’re gone~”

“And what if that was to change Kisuke? If I did not come back…then what?” She smirked at him, she would be lying to herself if she said that the day would come when she no longer desired to return to him - but he didn’t have to know that.

“Well, I would do the obvious, of course.” Kisuke stepped towards Yoruichi and wrapped his arms around her. “I would come look for you. Scour the globe until I found you so I could take you back with me. You know I’m only half as good without you.”

Though she allowed his embrace, she protested “What if I don’t want to come back to you? Would you force me to return with you.” She admitted to herself that she rather enjoyed being difficult when it came to having a conversation with Kisuke. Nothing was ever straight forward - except their love, which was clear from the beginning.
